DESCRIPTION: {native} This lovely flower blooms as it's surrounding grassy neighbors have lost their color and are drying on their stalks. As typical with all Brodiaeas, it has three stamens and three sterile staminodes.

HABITAT: Common, usually in heavy soils, dry or occasionally moist flats and slopes up to 7,000'

NOTES: Just as I thought it was safe to mow, I spotted the first of our Harvest Brodiaeas. Again I have many unmowed patches in our meadows.
