The original thought behind this trip was for a family re-connection. Jym's sister and one of his brothers (and their kids) wanted to take Mom (an English war bride) back to the place of her childhood and give her a chance to see her nieces and nephews again. Although Wendy had been back to England with Mom, neither Jym nor Rob had met their cousins before. As it turned out, it was only us who made the trip with Mom. We combined the trip with a motorcycle wander around England, Wales, and Scotland on rented BMWs.
